Her holistic approach includes a non-judgement space and unconditional positive regard while using modalities such as solution-focused, cognitive processing, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic treatment to assist clients experiencing mental and emotional hardships. This can include depression, anxiety, stress, relational/family challenges, grief, and trauma. Melissa brings over a decade of experience working with adults of all ages, families, and children who were runaways/homeless. Her goal is to help clients improve their quality of life by helping them create a tailored self-care routine, increase their insight, unlock dormant strengths, and build new, sustainable skills.
